I've always been told that there is no other "angle" only a spiritual one. And it is open for all of us, irrespective of faith, belief, custom, tradition or none of the above. I've heard Roman Catholics, born again Christians, Budists, Agnostics and Atheists all stand in the same meeting saying the Serenity Prayer together ans meaning every word. There is a Higher Power for all of us.

expect a miracle.

..even the best thing that ever happened to me i managed to screw that up too. Yet, describing my own spiritual awakening has given me an amazing gift. And it seems like i'm always the last one to know about it.
In my past life, I always wanted to direct my own play. But I was the only one with the script. Today i realize other people are not mind readers, so as i grow again in sobriety i get the tools of the trade from experience , strength and hope in AA.

Spiritual experience is a difficult thing to discuss. Spiritual experience is not an intellectual process nor has an intellectual understanding. I continue to take the Steps and try to remain open to further experiences with the Steps as I go along. –Dennis M.

Walked into AA a broken drunken student who preferred to die. Graduated two years later with a B.S. degree and the rudiments of faith. Over 7000 meetings later I'm sober and have a meaningful life. My spiritual life continues to grow and the conscious presence of God in my life amazes me. Looking outside this A.M I realize no two snowflakes are exactly the same.
