I really enjoyed getting to see where Bill W started the program. Learning more about the roots of AA make it all the more real for me. I’m just 6 months into this gig but already see the miracles happening in my life that I couldn’t see before getting sober. Thank you

Congrats Jason on your 1 year! Congrats Anne and Sherri (6 months) on your sobriety! :>) I wasn’t apart of AA my first year in being sober, I was doing the sobriety way of life on my own and I was very dry! “A dry drunk” that is. :>) However since implementing this wonderful way of life, at times it hasn’t been easy; in fact have found myself itching inside of my skin experiencing feelings that I would have drowned with alcohol in order to not feel them. Being sober is the real life and miracles continue to happen. And with God, AA, the fellowship and these wonderful 12 steps and 12 traditions it makes it that much more real! :>)
Love to all of you and congrats to everyone on your sobriety. Congrats to all the subscribers who are reading these posts who may not post anything back!
Thank you for my sobriety!
God Bless,
Van

I have to say, I’m so proud of my BG#2 for all of her accomplishments. I do feel the start of this one has been the best choice she has made. God bless you and know that your Momma and Poppa are with you all the way.
Thank you Bill W. for this wonderful new way of life…

Thank you Momma. You are my roots. I am forever and continually grateful for such healing and the opportunity to connect with my Creator. If I’d known not drinking was going to bring me this peace I’d have done it a couple decades ago. Who knew?
