The Meeting

hi my names marsha. ive just listern to the doctor who spoke abou aa only working for about 3% of alcoholics. im an recovering addic and alcohlic. ive been in recovery for over a year now. its been an xsperiance but the joy of it is amazing. i know that today as long as i know i have a desise its keeping me safe today. i have 4 children and going into treatment was the best thing ive ever done. i also belive that going to meetings for me is allowing me to realise that im not alone and the spritual feeling i get out of na and aa is more than amazing. i can say i know im not cured as it only takes a minimal amount of time that i could fall back on my face. but today i can say aslong as i stay close to my higher power i will be ko.

46 years of uninterrupted sobriety as a DIRECT result of belief in a Higher Power and continuous attendance at AA meetings…and i am a REAL alcoholic…may you find Him now
